About the Project

Our Gang Productions is a Brooklyn based production company that has brought to the tri-state area of New York the New York Vibes television show, the One Love radio show, several Youth Speak Outs and The Brooklyn Comedy Jump-Off comedy series in conjunction with 4 Good Brothers Promotion and Marketing.

Our Gang Productions has been able to develop business relationships with the companies such as KFC, Mc Donald’s, Key Food and local community based organizations like Community Board 9 and the Crown Heights Youth Collective.

In an effort to create change for the better Our Gang’s President & CEO Dion M. Ashman has convened with members of his think tank and collectively decided there needed to be another avenue for old and new school Hip Hop heads to express themselves. One that could bring about concrete solutions. The result is hiphopotherside.com

After producing the award winning documentary The Other Side of Hip Hop The Sixth Element (Big Apple Film Festival at Tribeca and Official Selection in the Sand Diego Black Film Festival) and screening in various venues in the country it was incumbent upon our think tank to do something on a higher level that can assist in bringing Hip Hop culture out of much of the negativity that has been so prevalent over the past fifteen years.

Join us on this historical journey as we make way for healthy debate, improvements and real thought out solutions.

“Ernie is more than a photographer who froze the element of Hip-
Hop. He has spoken out on where it needs to be corrected, so you
can bring a little clarity to the culture.”
